The 4.8m Kingfisher was designed as a result of the success of our Jolly Boat (design number 0993) but with a cabin large enough to accommodate two full length berths and a small galley.

Like the Jolly boat she is of plywood lap-strake construction and conceived for amateur construction and the full drawing set includes full size frame and stem templates and spar and rigging drawings for both the gaff sloop and gaff yawl rig options.

By the spring of 2017 forty-two Kingfishers have been built by their owners in eleven countries.
