Between January 1965 and May 1969 Laurent Giles & Partners Ltd undertook a series of tank tests for this Italian client. The tests which were for a range of three different fast motor yachts varied in size from the smallest 103’ (31.9 m) twin screw three deck up to this 136’ (41.65 m) triple screw Superyacht with speeds in the range 22 – 25 knots.
The design brief was handled by Jack Giles assisted by Arthur Bayzand, who became a Partner with LG & P since Jack’s death. Arthur had been with the company for many years and having worked extensively for J.S. White at Cowes became LG & P’s motor yacht specialist.
